Corona Light — No Lime
I will admit that since this lock down started I have developed an addiction to my social media feed. Who knew that other peoples lives could be so interesting, or possibly so fictitious. My addiction isn’t overwhelming, I only have a single Facebook account. I’m more comfortable talking to friends and my mom and sister by phone. Even texting is a novel experience for me. I am always excited when I see the little message icon at the top of my phone, and while I haven’t yet mastered typing on that smart phone, I recently noticed that I am now doing it with two hands, the way the young people do. You guessed it, I am not young, and will turn 60 in just a few weeks. Don’t let it fool you, I’m still a 23 year old on the inside. Of course, that 23 year old lived physically in 1983, but her mental wild streak has not diminished.
So when I heard about some of the awesome things people are doing during this stay at home order, I thought, heck, I can do awesome things. The first week of the stay at home period I took on an extra day of work. I am a Nanny for a family with 4 children. I was hired 3 months ago to care for their now 5 month old daughter, who I am in love with and have been since those first weeks when she and I spent our days quietly together while her older siblings were at school.
