Will Biden Take the Bait?

I am no expert in politics, but it seems to me that now is a time that leadership is needed in a new way. Leadership needs to finally bridge the inequality gap between races and between the economic classes in this country. My question to Mr. Biden is will he attempt to fill that vacuum and actually represent the interests of the black community, immigrant communities, and the financially challenged? My second question is whether in taking on the challenge of leading a nation divided by both race and wealth, who will he recognize as the leaders in each of these segments of society that most need leadership?

Biden has said he will name a running mate soon, and that person will be a woman. I think that his knee jerk reaction to the accusation that he sexually assaulted a woman 30 some years ago lead to that declaration. I think it is perfectly appropriate to take the stand he is taking, regardless of the motivation. I further believe that leaving that choice up to him, the person accused of perpetuating sexism through his actions, and not having a leader of the ME TOO movement be obvious, is part of the cause and effect of dis-effective leadership in our country. Movements such as ME TOO and BLM need to have leaders who are known and speak up. Clear leadership in both of these movements, to corral the chaos and energy of each, would help to advance policy changes that would in turn help change a…
